Working Together with Our Families

At Moorcroft Wood Academy, we value the positive relationships we build with our parents and families. We believe that children achieve their very best when school and home work together in partnership, sharing ideas, celebrating successes and supporting one another.

Throughout the year, we provide lots of opportunities for parents and families to be part of school life. These include our weekly Celebration Assemblies, school performances, Lighthouse Events, workshops such as Safer Internet Day, OPAL Play and Stay sessions, and community events such as our Summer Fayre.

We always enjoy welcoming parents and families into school and value the contribution they make to our school community. Your views are incredibly important to us, and we welcome feedback about your experiences, what you feel we are doing well, the opportunities we provide for children and families, and areas where we can continue to improve.
