WE BELIEVE MOORCROFT WOOD ACADEMY IS A VERY SPECIAL PLACE.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you on behalf of the children, staff and governors to our school website. The school forms an important part of the local community and we work hard to create and maintain these positive links. Our aim is to work in partnership with parents and the community to provide a high-quality education for all of our pupils.

At Moorcroft, we aim high and value excellence. We have high expectations of ourselves, our children and of parents/carers. We believe that in order to succeed we must provide a rich, stimulating and engaging curriculum, filled with exciting opportunities and experiences that really help to ‘bring learning alive’. We also provide the right level of challenge so that every child reaches their full potential.

A happy pupil is a successful one, which is why our team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff all work towards the same goal: that children enjoy learning! The way children learn and do at primary school will stay with them for the rest of their lives. We are rightly proud of our achievements and dedicated to continued success.

By working together - staff, parents, governors, and the wider community -we create an environment where children feel valued, supported, and celebrated for who they are.

From tiny seeds grow mighty trees - and at Moorcroft, we are proud to nurture those seeds, watching our pupils grow into confident, compassionate, and capable individuals. Together, we are shaping the writers, scientists, musicians, athletes, artists, and leaders of the future.
