Our Moorcroft Wood Bank combines attendance, punctuality, and positive behaviour in a way that’s consistent, fair, and motivating — all while giving children real-world skills in saving, spending, and self-regulation.

At Moorcroft Wood Bank, children earn ‘Moorcoins’ for their positive behaviour and attendance. These coins can be spent on exciting rewards or banked to save for higher-value items!

 

💰 Earning Moorcoins

• 10 Moorcoins — Attending school on time each day
• 5 Moorcoins — Attending school but arriving late
• 10 Moorcoins — Staying Green on our Good to be Green behaviour system all day
• 5 Moorcoins — Receiving a yellow or stop-and-think card but turning behaviour back to Green

Children can earn up to 100 Moorcoins each week!

Each week, children can choose to:

• Spend their Moorcoins at the Moorcroft Wood Bank on a range of exciting items or;
• Bank their Moorcoins to save up for something extra special!

 

The Moorcroft Wood Bank is all about recognising children’s effort, kindness, and commitment to doing their best each day. By earning, saving, and spending their ‘Moorcoins’, pupils learn the value of responsibility, perseverance, and making positive choices. Most importantly, it’s a fun and rewarding way to celebrate success and encourage everyone to keep growing, learning, and shining at Moorcroft Wood.
